FCLB Honors Past Presidents
The 75-year Diamond Jubilee celebration honored past FCLB presidents for years of service devoted to protecting the public through chiropractic regulation. Symbols of appreciation, a gavel plaque and medallion, were presented to those in attendance by Dr. David Brown at the Welcome Reception (see photo at right). "We were proud to take time to recognize our past FCLB presidents for all that they have done and continue to do—their leadership has built and renewed the Federation's strong foundation," stated Dr. David Brown, the immediate past president. Those unable to attend the conference include: Drs. Robert Runnells (CO); Victor Marty (MN); Richard Vincent (MA); Carroll Winkler (ND) and Robert Vaughn (NC). The FCLB thanks past presidents for their leadership and vision. The idea of implementing a council for past presidents was discussed in order to maintain the history and wisdom of the organization. In addition, NCMIC generously offered to fund a historical written account by Dr. Joseph Keating to capture the last 75 years of the FCLB. Any helpful reference documents or photographs would be appreciated. |
