Western States President delivers Janse Lecture
Previously, jurisdictions varied greatly and different philosophies controlled chiropractic boards. Now there is more of an effort to standardize philosophies, concepts, and procedures–which he hopes continues its trend. "Divisiveness inhibits growth—there is a tendency to categorize all things as black or white in order to make decisions related to our fight or flight response," said Dr. Dallas. He reported it is his hope to continue to make uniformity to better the profession an issue without letting go of our great history and diversity. Dr. Dallas serves as President of the Association of Chiropractic Colleges and has previously served in the leadership of many other professional boards including the Council on Chiropractic Education and ACA. |
