FCLB paves way for All Legally Licensed DCs in searchable database
(ALLDOCS went live July 31!)

The ALLDOCS database, which is part of CIN-BAD, includes public information regarding current, active licenses as verified independently with participating licensing boards.

As a starting point, the database includes information on more than 67,000 chiropractors, with more than 40,000 coming directly from our member boards and close to 27,000 coming from other sources.

Working with our regulatory family, the records coming directly from our member boards will increase. Currently, we project there are about 80,000 active licenses held by about 58,300 DCs.

As we refine this new and exciting process, the database may contain a small number of duplicate records and/or chiropractors who are not listed. Shortly, we will have an on-line reporting tool available that CIN-BAD users can use to report duplications, omissions, and other corrections.

Soon we will be asking boards to provide an updated list of active licensees every other month. In exchange, we hope this system will help the boards in at least three ways:

• Verify the jurisdictions in which a chiropractor may be licensed, with that information provided directly from the boards, not the licensee;
  
  

• Reduce the contact traffic to the board offices from health plans wanting to check huge lists of doctors (freeing your valuable resources to take care of your licensees and citizens);
  
  

• Generate income through CIN-BAD that goes back into services for our member boards-continuing our mission of public protection.
