Dr. Wayne Wolfson of Orlando, Florida, was elected President for the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards at the FCLB 75th Annual Congress held April 4 - 8, 2001, in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Wolfson’s initial one-year term has already begun with strategic planning initiated to fulfill goals such as: continuing education in chiropractic regulation as a clearinghouse, interjurisdictional mobility, and review of our Bylaws—among other issues.

"We can be extremely proud of our past accomplishments, particularly of and during our Diamond Jubilee. With many challenges ahead—the future continues to be bright with multiple opportunities for success."

Dr. Wolfson chaired the conference committee for the Federation for two years as well as served in office as FCLB Treasurer and Vice President. He is the Vice Chair of the Florida Board of Chiropractic Medicine, having served as its Chairman from 1996 to 1998. Additionally, he is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Dr. Wolfson graduated from the Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1977, following graduation from the University of Tennessee. He is a fellow of the American College of Chiropractors and past member of the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulations Chiropractic Peer Review Committee.

Active in the community, he is a former member of the Valencia Community College, Board of Trustees, and presently serves on the Executive Committee of the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Directors of the Orlando Museum of Art. Dr. Wolfson has been in practice in the Orlando area since 1978 and is a principal of the Regional Chiropractic Group.

Dr. Cole practices in Bartlett and Germantown, Tennessee and received his doctoral degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic.
