NCQA Required Credentials for Chiropractors

The National Center for Quality Assurance (NCQA) defines standards for the appropriate credentialing of many health care professionals. Under these standards, there are some specific stipulations about how the credentials are to be determined. Contact NCQA for official information.

In the following chart, the FCLB lists its unofficial understanding of how the NCQA standards apply to the chiropractic profession. For many of these credentials, one of the CIN-BAD databases can or will be able to provide reliable and convenient information.
