The US Department of Education withdrew its recognition of SCASA effective 6/4/93. SCASA discontinued its accrediting activities December 31, 1995.

Reference to SCASA still exists in several state laws, please contact individual licensing boards for more information regarding their current position on graduates of schools accredited by or holding candidate status with SCASA while it was accrediting chiropractic programs.
