Laclede’s Landing

The old and the new are merging in the Laclede’s Landing entertainment district. The Landing, as the locals call it, is a colorful snapshot of old St. Louis with cobblestone streets and historic 19th-century riverfront warehouses converted into nightclubs, restaurants and offices.

Take a carriage ride, visit the wax museum, learn some magic, or visit one of the entertaining dining venues.

At 630 ft., our nation's tallest manmade monument has plenty of exciting activities. Take the tram ride to the top, see a documentary film, experience a giant screen movie, visit the Lewis & Clark exhibit in the museum and go shopping.

Noted for its collection of 19th-century homes constructed of St. Louis’ signature red brick, structures built by early brewery workers have been turned into music clubs, retail shops and restaurants. The historic churches of Soulard, built by St. Louis’ immigrant communities, also welcome visitors throughout the year.

Immediately south of Soulard you can rummage through St. Louis’ attic on Cherokee Street, St. Louis’ antique row.
