The intent of the legislation is to modernize the Board’s practice act to be
consistent with the other regulated professions in Ohio and to follow “best
practices” in professional regulation nationally. Furthermore, the Board needs the ability to regulate the chiropractic profession into the next
century. The Board wants chiropractic to grow and prosper and this bill should allow the Board and
chiropractic to do so. A strong Board is able to protect the interests of chiropractic and the patient public!
