is the immediate past Chairman of the Council on Chiropractic Guidelines and Practice Parameters (CCGPP) and currently serves on its executive committee.

Dr. McMichael is a 1972 graduate of Logan College and practices in Canton, Ohio. He is a member of the Ohio State Chiropractic Board.

He is a past president of the Congress of Chiropractic State Associations which commissioned the Mercy Guidelines Conference.

He served as a panel member of the Mercy Conference in 1992.
