is the President of the Oregon Board of Chiropractic Examiners and a state delegate for the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He is an alternate delegate to FCLB for the state of Oregon.

Dr. McCarthy served as a member on the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners Practical Examination Testing Committee. He has been past officer of a state association and held chairmanships of numerous committees. He also has been in numerous community organizations and local school district boards and committees.

Dr. McCarthy is a 1977 graduate of Western States Chiropractic College.
