is a 1981 graduate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa and began private practice in Oregon in 1982. She has served at several levels in her state association, including Secretary - Treasurer, President and Legislative Chair. She has been chosen as Chiropractor of the Year in Oregon on three occasions.

Currently, Dr. Galligan serves as the Vice-President of the Oregon Board of Chiropractic Examiners. She is their representative to the FCLB and serves as Chair of the FCLB Clinical Competence Task Force. She is in part-time private practice and is also the Clinic Director of the Western States Chiropractic College Outpatient Clinic.
