is a 1981 graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic. He was appointed to the Utah State Chiropractic Physicians Licensing Board in 1989, and re-appointed in 1994, serving as Chair of that board the past five years.

He has been a member of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners Part IV Grading and Scoring Committee and a Part IV Test Administration Examiner since the inception of the NBCE Part IV examination.

He has been the FCLB appointee to the Council on Chiropractic Education since 1998, and is currently a CCE Board Member and the Chair of the CCE Commission on Accreditation.

This year he steps down as Alternate Director for District IV of the FCLB.
